Breitbart Writers Ordered to Be Less Critical of Jared Kushner

According to a New York Times source, Bannon told Kushner on one occasion when they clashed: "Here's the reason there's no middle ground".

Days later, however, the stream of anti-Kushner articles at Breitbart has stopped - and according to a new report from Business Insider's Oliver Darcy, that is not a coincidence.

Spicer, without naming Bannon and Kushner, answered a few questions about Trump's "perspective on the ability of the senior advisers to resolve those differences".

Politico reported on Wednesday that Bannon, who was abruptly removed from the Principals Committee of the National Security Council earlier in the day, considered leaving the White House entirely as a result of conflict with Kushner.

"What White House insiders can not come to grips with, and I talked to three of the top presidents" people yesterday, they do not understand what happened to Steve Bannon", Scarborough said.

Reuters cited an unnamed White House official in reporting that Priebus' message to Bannon and Kushner was to "stop with the palace intrigue" and focus on the president's agenda.

A senior official told the media that Trump gave the former Breitbart man an ultimatum following a nightmare week wherein the chief strategist found himself increasingly isolated within the White House, Axios reports.

Bannon recently called Kushner a "cuck" behind his back, according to the The Daily Beast.

Soon after the feud spilled out into the public, Trump told Bannon and chief of staff Reince Priebus he was fed up with bickering in the press and instructed the pair to "work this out", the Times reported.

Spokeswoman Lindsay Walters, however, has dismissed the rumors of infighting and staff dysfunctionality as a "completely false story driven by people who want to distract from the success taking place in this administration".
