Drake Cancels Amsterdam Concert Due to Food Poisoning

As Drake is nearly finished with his final dates of his Boy Meets World U.K. tour, the rapper fell ill in Amsterdam.

Drake had been scheduled to appear at the city's Ziggo Dome venue on Monday night in a show starting at 9pm.

According to the promoter, the Canadian rapper was advised not to perform by a doctor after falling ill. Angry fans threw their drinks and booed her while she spoke.

A Mojo employee also made an announcement to the audience, according to Billboard: "I'm really sorry to tell you that tonight's show can not take place".

Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, has not personally spoken out about the postponed show. "Drake got sick. His doctor told him not to perform", the rep said in a video captured by a fan.

Concert organizer Mojo confirmed that the tickets for Monday's show will be valid on Wednesday. "People were playing Drake's music, some were dancing".

"Tonight's show will be moved to upcoming Wednesday March 29".

The Boy Meets World tour has proved to be a success with Drake performing 35 shows, including a sold-out seven-night stint at London's O2 Arena. Those two shows got pushed back to the 26th and 27th, but were rescheduled again for March 27th and 28th - the ones he just canned for a third time. While recovering from his illness, Drake has received some good news with Billboard confirming that the Young Money rapper has amassed the most Hot 100 hits on the chart for a solo artist with 154.
