Brock Lesnar tested positive for clomiphene

USADA Brock Lesnar's UFC 200 in-competition test also tested positive

USADA [United States Anti-Doping Agency], which has been overseeing the UFC's anti-doping programme since a year ago, announced on 10 June that Mendes had been flagged for "a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection".

USADA announced today that UFC athlete Chad Mendes, of Sacramento, Calif., has received a two-year sanction for an anti-doping policy violation after testing positive for a prohibited substance. "I was told Brock was gonna be tested when I took the fight, he comes in looking fricken' juicy as hell and then I find out he's popped after the PPV has already been sold".

UFC 200 was previously marred by the company's decision to pull former light-heavyweight champion Jones off the card after he submitted a sample with substances that the Nevada commission identified this week as clomiphene and letrozole.

Prior to the news of these drug tests, it felt like Lesnar was going to compete again in UFC in the near future.

Lesnar could also face a suspension from WWE, which released a statement on Friday following the announcement of Lesnar's out-of-competition positive test.

This failed test, however, happened on July 9, the day of Lesnar's fight in Las Vegas. They are not the ones who had to fight with Lesnar or lose [to him].

A UFC statement said the United States Anti-Doping Agency would "handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case".

Lesnar is still scheduled to be a part of the WWE Draft tonight, as well as fight the returning Randy Orton at next month's SummerSlam event. This is the same drug, an anti-estrogen blocker, that led to a failed drug test for Jon Jones.

"I don't even know how he made 265 (pounds), that guy", Hunt said of Lesnar. When you don't make weight they give twenty per cent of your purse to the other fighter. His appearance at UFC 200 marked Lesnar's first professional fight since December 2011. Lesnar is still entitled to due process before anything else, but with multiple failed tests now held against him, the ultimate outcome is nearly certain the be grim.
