Man Utd could make PSG star Mourinho's next signing

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Ince says that Juventus star Paul Pogba would be the ideal signing to lead his old club to the Premier League title next season.

The 23-year-old has been one of France's stand-out players and is likely to feature in tonight's European Championship final against Portugal.

AS says United are set to open proceedings to bring Pogba - who had two unsuccessful years in Manchester from 2011 - back to Old Trafford.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Juventus this summer for a world-record fee, claimed to be at least £100million by most sources.

Raiola is understood to have already advised Pogba to join United over Real Madrid, whose interest in the France global has cooled in recent weeks.

Paul Pogba's departure from Manchester United left the club's players wondering "what the hell is going on?" according to former captain Rio Ferdinand. It'd be a surprise if the topic of Pogba's return to Old Trafford didn't come up during the negotiations.

He said: "He has such an aura about him in midfield and now I want to see him dazzle in the Premier League".

Pogba was at United until summer 2012, when he was 19, but former manager Sir Alex Ferguson used the player only seven times in all competitions. All these great players should help Mourinho in the goal on putting back Manchester United on the winning track.

As Redknapp points out, Pogba would be an ideal acquisition for Jose Mourinho's United, and put the rest of the league on notice.

Mourinho was armed with only £200million transfer funds, and he has already spent part to acquire the services of Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived for free.
