Brock Lesnar vs Mark Hunt UFC 200 Fight Video

UFC 200 was hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In the Main Event, Women's Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate attempted to defend her title against Dangerous Brazilian Amanda Nunes.

In the co main event Kiwi MMA superstar Mark "The Super Samoan" Hunt welcomed returning former Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar back to the Octagon, after a near 5 year hiatus.

A whole host of potential main events were on the card but it was one fight which captured the imagination of even the most casual UFC fan.

How will tonight's action play out?

The biggest takeaway from the fight was Lesnar's ability to take a punch.

Dana White reportedly said yesterday she's not coming, but he may also be looking to protect a big reveal after having the announcement of Brock Lesnar's return spoiled at UFC 199.

Again, Lesnar showed tentative pursuit in the second round, but he held a 15-1 edge in significant strikes over the first six minutes of the bout. Tate is scheduled to fight Amanda Nunes in a women's bantamweight championship fight at UFC 200 on S. "I think I'm the best fighter on the planet - sitting right here - and defeating Lesnar takes me a step closer to the UFC title", he had said.

Rocked by a succession of blows, Tate struggled to regain her senses and dropped to the canvas where Nunes took her back and locked in the rear-naked choke.

But boy did the former heavyweight champion of the world prove his doubters wrong. She will most likely dominate on the feet while Tate could dominate on the ground. Granted, I've got some work to do, but don't we all?

Former heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez isn't challenging for a belt at UFC 200, but he hopes that beating Travis Browne could possibly earn him a title shot.

The oft-injured Velasquez (14-2) had fought just once since October 2013, losing his belt to Fabricio Werdum a year ago.

Title contenders T.J. Dillashaw, Kelvin Gastelum and Julianna Pena won clear, entertaining decisions on the undercard.

What an unbelievable performance by Joe Lauzon as he finished Diego Sanchez via strikes early in the first round.
