Not just that, with Cecily Strong delivering a heartfelt message of solidarity with Paris after the bad attacks on Friday. The visibly emotional Strong kept her composure, though, and then switched gears to deliver her message in impressively idiomatic French.

Paris is the City of Lights and here in NY City, we know that light will never go out. "We stand with you", she said before the credits rolled.

Sam Smith and Lorde were both featured in a promo for the show - and both have collaborations with Disclosure on their new album. Appearing to mock the likes of The Backstreet Boys and 'NSYNC, the oh-so-dirty secrets from the child years of everyone's favorite Saturday Night Live female cast members were exposed to the public.

"Paris is the city of light". Watch the moving tribute below.

The biggest thing that we were disappointed about with the Donald Trump episode "Saturday Night Live" was that the show really failed to take advantage of whatever ratings that they had.

Next week is a monster of an episode with host Matthew McConaughey and music superstar Adele. There was one sketch about a gaggle of girls gabbing and calling things ghetto until the conversation turned sour when one girl—Banks obviously—mentioned she lived in the ghetto.

There was no cold opening on SNL last night.
