Brother of key Paris suspect says doesn't know where he is

Family of Paris bomber arrested as first

The cafe is located close to the Bataclan concert hall, where the tragic Paris attack massacre occurred on Friday night.

Early Monday morning, a law enforcement source told ABC News Abdeslam had been tracked to a building in Molenbeek, where he was surrounded by police, but later police found he wasn't there.

Brussels authorities have arrested his brother, Mohamed, and are searching for a third brother, Salah, identified by the Mail as "Europe's most wanted man". He is now the focus of an worldwide manhunt, the Telegraph reports.

Despite acknowledging one of her son had spent "a long time" in Syria, she was "surprised" he was a terrorist.

Their mother spoke out in defence of Ibrahim, suggesting he had mistakenly detonated his suicide jacket.

"This was not his plan, that's for sure", she said.

She added: "We even saw him two days before the attacks". Iraqi intelligence claims the West was warned of an imminent assault the day before the Paris attacks and Turkish officials claim they were able to foil the plan in Istanbul the same day in an act of revenge for Jihadi John's death.

One of the three brothers who have been linked to the Paris attacks has said upon his release from detention in Brussels that he and his family "are moved by what happened" in Paris and 'could never have believed that one of our brothers was involved'.

"My brother Salah still has not been heard from, perhaps he just isn't daring to show himself to the authorities", he said. "We did see that he had been radicalized, at least in part". "I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and [gun] silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before", he says.

Another man, Bilal Hadfi, has been named as among the attackers and he also lived in Belgium as did Salah and Ibrahim Abdeslam, said the Washington Post.

Survivors of the Bataclan attack told French authorities that all three of the ISIS fighters blew themselves up.

Police have launched a massive investigation and have detained several people connected to the suspects in both France and Belgium.

Ismael Omar Mostefai, a 29-year-old man from Courcouronnes, a town 16 miles south of Paris in Essonne, has been officially identified as another assailant.
